What Does Food Have to Do with Prosperity?
If you define prosperous as merely “financially well off,” you may have access to more food than you need and perhaps dine out too often at those fabulous restaurants that serve gourmet, high-calorie meals. Dining out is great. It’s one of the joys of life as are those sumptuous home-cooked meals grandma makes.
From another perspective, if you define prosperous as having more choices and access to those foods that will help you create health and vitality, you may choose to visit Costco to load up on the abundant and affordable fruit that is there. You then return home to your high-tech blender to mix the fruit with other nutrients to make yummy smoothies that your body loves and that cost less than restaurant meals.
The perspective that may be most worth considering is that prosperity is about “feeling well” and what you eat does make a difference. Prosperity is about “feeling blessed”—blessed with good health, which you faithfully protect; blessed with sufficient financial resources to meet your most important needs; and blessed to have others in your life who lovingly join with you in the commitment to be just plain Smart and Happy.

I love your blog. It is a real treasure. I hope you’re not offended but did you code this theme yourself? I am always looking to improve the design of my body armor site.

Well said, Darby! Well said, Brenda! I totally agree with you both!
I can’t wait to read your new book!
Hi Darby! Eating nutritious, delicious food has EVERYTHING to do with prosperity! You should know I have an opinion on THIS!! When our body is nourished & functioning properly, our mind works better, we feel better, we allow optimism to enter our being, we are happier, we are hopeful, we are productive, we are kinder, we give to others more freely, we are think less about our own challenges & are able to focus on helping others which I think is why we are here in the first place.
Hugs to Sharon & you!!
